The clock is ticking. Somewhere in the city, a bomb is counting down. Your team of elite agents must crack codes, track down elusive spies, and piece together crucial intelligence before time runs out. This isn’t just another team building event – this is Spy Race, where every second counts and trust is your most valuable currency.
Feel your pulse quicken as you decipher your first coded message, leading you through city streets where danger – and excitement – lurk around every corner. Our highly trained actors blend seamlessly into the urban landscape, each carrying vital pieces of intelligence. But be careful – not everyone is who they seem to be, and in this game of cat and mouse, your team’s observation skills will be put to the ultimate test.
What sets Spy Race apart?
It’s the perfect fusion of mental agility and physical adventure. One moment you’re breaking complex codes that would challenge MI6’s finest, the next you’re tailing a suspicious character through bustling city streets. Your team must work together, combining different skills and perspectives to unravel the conspiracy before it’s too late.
The Mission Begins:
Every Spy Race operation starts with a classified briefing. Our mission control team meets with you to understand your group’s dynamics and customize the perfect covert operation. Whether you’re a small strike team or a large-scale tactical unit, we adjust the mission parameters to create the perfect level of challenge.
On mission day, your team receives their covert briefing in an undisclosed location. After quick training in essential spy craft, you’re equipped with everything needed for the operation – mission documents, secure communication channels, and the tools of the trade. Then, you’re thrown into the deep end of international espionage.
As your mission unfolds, you’ll:
But here’s where it gets interesting – while you’re hunting our spies, they might just be watching you too. Every decision counts, every interaction could be crucial, and every team member’s skills will be tested. The city becomes your game board, and ordinary locations transform into scenes of intrigue and adventure.
The Final Countdown:
As the pieces start falling into place and the timer counts down, teams must combine their gathered intelligence to pinpoint the bomb’s location. Success requires more than just speed – it demands teamwork, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure. Will your team emerge victorious, or will the city fall into chaos?
Make It Your Mission:
Every Spy Race is uniquely crafted to challenge and engage. Want to incorporate company-specific codes? Looking to add extra layers of complexity? Need to adjust the physical demands? Our mission planners work with you to create the perfect scenario. Operations can run from two hours to a full day of covert activities.

How many people can participate?
All of our events are flexible and can scale up or down as needed. At the top of each event page, there is a participants number guide, however the short answer is as many as you like!
The minimum is 2 people, however, realistically most events work best with at least 2 teams of 3. There is no maximum! If you have 4000 people, we can design and host an Amazing Race, Survivor, Online event or something custom for you!
How long does an event take?
Our events are flexible however, some have a minimum amount of time to get the most fun from the experience. At the top of each event page there is a time guide.
As an example, a standard Amazing Race takes around 2.5 hours including the briefing at the beginning and the presentation at the end of the event. However, as with everything we do, we can customise it. A race needs to have at least 1.5 hours as a minimum but there is no maximum. A race can be made to last several days and include hotel stays over night if needed.
How fit do I have to be?
Different events have different activity levels and therefore fitness requirements. Part of the initial discovery session is to discuss your team and the physical levels of your group.
As an example, in order to participate in a standard Amazing Race, we would expect each racer be comfortable walking around 3 kms in comfortable shoes. The physical challenges on the checkpoints are not particularly physically difficult and can be adapted for most abilities.
We can customise the races to be very physical and cover much larger distances, suitable for gyms or miltary, or make them much more suitable for a lower fitness level, including wheelchairs.
Where can the event take place?
Pretty much anywhere! Fun Team Building have the ability to plan and host events all around Australia at anytime. We can also plan and host internationally with a little more lead time! Let’s have a chat and discuss your requirements!
What happens in the case of bad weather?
The weather is one of the few things we can’t control! We will start to look at the weather forecast a week a so before your event. In the event that the forecast is showing weather where an event would not be fun, someone from our team will give you a call to discuss options.
The options are: 1: Go ahead anyway! We don’t mind getting wet so if the forecast is for rain, we can still go ahead if you want. 2: Postpone to another date. There is no penalty in this as long as the decision is made at least 24 hours before. 3: We can pivot the event and turn an outdoor event into an indoor mixed event. An indoor rain event would normally include a lot of the same challenges and tasks as the event you were planning, but inside! We can also set up a game show, trivia or other indoor option.
How do I book?
On each event page there is a “Get a Quote” form. Simply complete this form on the event page and our team will get back to you with a quote quickly. Simply reply to the quote email with an acceptance and we will generate a 30% deposit invoice, locking in your chosen date and time.
Alternatively email our team at ask@funteambuilding.com.au or call and we can simply have a chat about what you have in mind!
What is your cancellation policy?
An event can be cancelled at any point up until 48 hours before the scheduled start time. While the deposit is non-refundable at any time, it can be held as a credit for a future event. Likewise the rest of the payment can be held for future bookings, however, if you need to cancel, the payment, minus the deposit, can be refunded in full up until 48 hours before the event, or after that time, refunded minus any travel costs incurred. After 24 hours prior to an event, staff fees will be deducted from the refunded amount in addition.
Are you insured?
